Classes and Programs
Czech School of California classes are offered in two semesters. Fall semester is the first half of the academic year and runs from September through till the end of January. Spring semester, being the second half of the academic year, commences in February and ends in June. Your student must register for each semester separately.
To register for our classes, please complete one of the following registration documents:
Continuing Student Registration Form if you are a returning student
New Student Registration Form if you are new to our school
Once we receive your completed form, our admin office will process your registration and an invoice will be emailed to you. Please, allow 10 working days for processing. Should we have any additional questions, we will contact you before invoicing. Your email address will be added to our regular mailing list.
Invoice payment options include credit card and bank transfers via a link on your invoice. Alternatively, you may pay by check on the first day of semester or mail it to the address on the invoice.
Czech School of California has a valid contractual agreement with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic as a provider of education abroad. Our teaching is conducted according to the valid Framework Educational Program for Elementary Education and thus our students achieve comparable results as students in Czech schools in the field of Czech language and literature, and in the knowledge of Czech history and geographu.

Sluníčka Class (18 months - 3 years)
Location: Palo Alto
Day: Saturday, 9:30am - 11:30am
Slunicka is a unique and engaging class offered at our Heritage School. Through fun activities and interactive lessons, children learn the basics of the Czech language and build a strong foundation of Czech vocabulary. Our Slunicka classes are full of energy and creativity, making learning fun and inspiring for all ages.
2. Broučci Preschool & Czech Club (3-6 years)
Location: Palo Alto, Lafayette
Day: Saturday, 9 am - 12 pm
Our Preschool Class is a fun and engaging way for young children to learn the Czech language and culture. Led by experienced teachers, this class is designed for any level of Czech language skills and incorporates games, art, music, and other fun activities to ensure learning is an enjoyable experience. Let us help your child gain a strong foundation in Czech language and culture with our Preschool Class.
3. Myšáci I. Elementary Class (1st to 5th grade)
Location: Palo Alto, Lafayette
Day: Saturday, 9 am - 12 pm
Our Elementary classes are designed to help students build their Czech language skills. We focus on Czech vocabulary, grammar, reading and writing, and Czech history and geography. All our classes are accredited by the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic and taught by licensed teachers.
4. Myšáci II. Middle School (6th to 9th grade)
Location: Palo Alto, Lafayette
Day: Saturday, 9 am - 12 pm
Our Middle School classes are designed to help students extend their knowledge of Czech literature, history and culture. Through a range of projects and disciplines, such as art and theatre, our experienced teachers help students build on their existing knowledge and develop their critical thinking skills. With our engaging and interactive lessons, students will gain a deep understanding of the Czech culture and its heritage.
4. Czech As a Second Language (adults and kids)
Location: Online
Our Czech as a Second Language course is perfect for both beginner and intermediate students. We offer individual and group courses, with interactive, self-paced lessons taught by our licensed language instructors. With our help, you can set your goals and achieve them in no time.
